Writing Rules

Articles are written in MS Word program with the character “Calibri” in “11 point”, single line spaced and justified (Abstract and Abstract are written in 10 point size, 1 line spacing, the first line of the paragraph is 0). The page structure should be A4; There should be a space of "2.5 cm" on the right, "2.5 cm" on the left, "2.5 cm" on the top and "2.5 cm" on the bottom edges. (These settings are made in the “page layout” - “margins” section).

The indent at the beginning of paragraphs should be “1.25 cm” and the space between paragraphs should be “0 pt” and then “6 pt”. Titles should be 12nk first, then 6nk. There should be no blank lines between paragraphs. (These settings are made in the “paragraph settings” - “indents and spacing” section in the MS Word program).

The general structure of the article is as follows: The title, abstract and keywords in the language in which the article was written, the title, summary and keywords in the second language (English if the article is Turkish, Turkish if the article is English), introduction, texts of the article with its titles, explanation footnotes at the bottom of the pages when necessary, conclusion, bibliography and appendixes (if any).

The Turkish and English titles of the article should be written in "11 Point" font with the character "Calibri", all capital letters and "bold". “Abstract” and “Keywords” should be written in “Calibri” character, “10 Point” and in italics. Abstracts should consist of 150-250 words. In the summary section, the purpose and scope of the study, its originality and contribution to the field it studies, its method and main emphasis, evaluations and suggestions should be briefly stated. There should be at least three and at most six keywords. A comma should be used between keywords, the first letter of each word should be capitalized, and keywords should not be numbered.

By the blind peer review policy, there should be no statements regarding the identity of the author in the article file that will be uploaded to the journal WEB system and presented to the reviewers for evaluation. Therefore, the first page of the article file uploaded to the system should contain only the title, abstract and keywords in the language in which the article was written, and the title, abstract and keywords in the second language (English if the article is Turkish, Turkish if the article is English).

The main text of the article should start with the title "INTRODUCTION" after the keywords. Main headings in the text should be left-aligned, written in capital letters and bold. Second-level headings should be left aligned, and bold and only the first letters of the words should be capitalized. Third-level headings should also be left aligned and bold, but only the first letter of the first word should be capitalized. Headings should not be lettered or numbered.

Table and figure headings should be numbered above the tables and figures and written in paragraph indent as "Calibri 11 Point". Table, Figure, Graphic words, and numbers should be written in bold. In table and figure names, the first letter of each word should be capitalized and not bold. For example; Table 1: Table Title. The font in the table should be "Calibri and 8 Point". The source should be written in "Calibri 10 Point", starting with a paragraph indent below the figure and table, as in the bibliography, and the page number should be specified.

Articles are checked with a plagiarism program by ethical principles. The plagiarism rate is expected not to exceed 15%.

In-text citation in the journal is done by the APA (7th edition) citation method, with the author's surname and year of publication in parentheses. For example; (Saaty, 1999: 90). If the cited work has two authors, the surnames of both authors are shown. For example; (Arslan & Yener, 2016: 22). If the referenced work has three or more authors, the first author's "surname et al." expression should be used. For example; (Tekinalp et al., 2000: 98-99). If more than one source is cited or included on the same subject in the text, the authors' surnames should be listed alphabetically with a semicolon between them. For example; (Ahmet, 2009; Can, 2001; Uysal, 2006). Different works of the same author from the same year should be indicated with the letters "a, b, c, ..." placed at the end of the publication year. For example; (Yilmaz, 2008a; 2008b).

Footnotes in the text should be used only for explanation purposes, at the bottom of the relevant page, without compromising the text's integrity. They should be given in the "Calibri 10 Point" character. Abbreviations used in in-text citations and bibliography should be written in the writing language of the article, regardless of the language of the referenced source. For example; In the Turkish article, “ve”, “et al.”, “Der./Ed.”, in the English article, “and”, “et al.”, “Ed./Eds.” like..

If an appendix is included in the article, each appendix should be placed on a separate page after the bibliography. The title "APPENDIX" should be written in capital letters, bold and left aligned, and numbered separately. The first letter of each word in the appendix title should be capitalized. For example; APPENDIX 1: Annex Title.

The sources used should be listed alphabetically in surname order on a separate page at the end of the article under the heading "References". Each source should be written starting with a paragraph indent. If there are works by the same author from the same year in the bibliography, they should be listed by adding the letters "a, b, c, ..." at the end of the year in which the work was done.

In the bibliography section, references should be cited in APA style (7th edition). Examples of the general rules that must be followed are given below. For references that do not have examples, you should refer to http://www.apastyle.org/ or related sources.
